The production of sparkling wines has a long tradition in Germany and some of the most important companies in Champagne, such as Deutz or Krug, were founded by Germans. No wonder, then, that for some years now we have again been increasingly concerned with the subject of sparkling wines and pay respect to this tradition.
Mosel Riesling is particularly well suited to the production of fine sparkling wines due to its structure and chemical composition. A well-balanced starter from the best Riesling grapes.
The base wine, made from finely selected, healthy Pinot Noir grapes from a parcel in the Ürziger Würzgarten, is fermented in traditional bottles and disgorged after at least 5 years in the bottle. Only then is the vintage sparkling wine put on sale.
