The grapes for our wines come exclusively from our estate-owned vineyards in the Middle Mosel. They are farmed sustainably, then harvested and selected by hand. Vineyards outside of the Grosse Lage (grand cru) sites are used for VDP Gutswein (estate wine) and VDP Ortswein (village wine) bottlings. The Grosse Lage sites are vinified separately and, depending on the vintage-specific conditions, are made into our high-end dry Rieslings, as well as the classic Prädikat styles, all the way up to Trockenbeerenauslese.
