This is undisputedly our finest vineyard. With its exceptionally warm microclimate, perfect exposure to the south, as well as red slate soil, it produces Rieslings full of power and complexity. The protected vineyard location between the river and the rocky massif enables the production of great dry Rieslings, as well as high-quality Auslese and Botrytis selections every year. Typical of wines from the Prälat are aromas of mango, passion fruit and bitter almonds.
