A bit about the wine from our Dr L info sheet
This entry-level Riesling embodies the elegant and racy characteristics of steep, slate-soil Mosel vineyards at a very reasonable price. It is a bright, vibrant, fruit-driven wine made with grapes form contracted growers throughout the Mosel River valley who work very closely with Ernst and Thomas Loosen to achieve excellent quality and superb concentration in every vintage.
The wines of 2012 are characterized by a stunning purity of fruit and a density of flavor that gives each wine a very clear express of its terroir. The 2012 Dr. L Riesling has an intense aroma of grapefruit and peach pit, with a juicy, fruity blast on the palate followed by an acid-driven dryness on the finish. Its medium weight and lovely texture make it a very satisfying wine for every day.
